Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started with fundraising?

Set up your fundraising webpage team as soon as you are registered for the event. Spread the word far and wide using word of mouth, Facebook, or Twitter. Make sure to contact co-workers, friends, and family. You can even ask your employer if they would be willing to sponsor your team!

How do I turn in offline donations?

Either you or your donor can send offline donations to the IBT office with the following address:

IBT Attn: Bowl Over Autism

1106 N. 155th Street, Suite B

Basehor, KS 66226

*** Please remind donors to note which team the donation is for***

Can I track offline donations?

Yes! Login to your account and click on MANAGE MY CAMPAIGN. In the bottom right corner, you will see DONATION TOOLKIT. Here you can click on the OFFLINE DONATION MANAGER to record the donor name and amount. If a donation for your team is sent directly to the IBT office, one of our volunteers will notify you by email.

Can I collect donations via PayPal?

While donors cannot donate on Crowdrise using PayPal, they can donate directly to IBT. Simply have donors go to http://www.ibt-inc.org/donate. Scroll down the page and click on the Paypal Donate button in the left sidebar. Make sure they email fundraiser@ibt-inc.org to give you credit for your fundraising campaign.

What happens if my team doesn’t make their $500 minimum by 11.11.16?

One of our waitlist teams will be given your spot for the Bowl Over Autism event. Your team may still attend the event if there are enough individual tickets available (see below).

Can I bring some friends along to join the fun?

Individual tickets will be for sale for $50 at the door. Individual tickets do not guarantee a lane for bowling. Individual ticket holders may eat, drink and enjoy other activities. Only persons 18 and older will be permitted access to the event. Must be 21 or older with valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages.

When are donations due?

While IBT accepts donations at any time, only donations received before noon on 11.11.16 will count towards prizes at the event.

Will I be required to show ID?

Yes! It is Mission Bowl's policy to ID everyone who consumes alcoholic beverages regardless of appearance of age. IBT representatives will ask to see a valid for of identification for entry to the event so that those 21 and older may receive a wristband. Must be 18 years of age to enter. Those who appear to be over 21 but do not have an ID may enter at an IBT representative's discretion, however, they will not be issued a wristband without ID.
